Welcome, friends!
You've stumbled upon an idea that has lived comfortably in the recesses of my imagination for quite some time, but has been pushed into action by the ever-changing events of COVID-19. Starting a blog was something I saw in high school as a distant goal, a project that would someday be realized when I "had the time" or "got around to it."
If there's one thing the coronavirus has taught me, it's that sometimes waiting for when you finally have the time or when you get round to it might mean it's too late.
So here we are.
Ask any of my friends and they'll tell you of my love for words and my passion for people. I thought this might be a good way to combine the two - weaving my thoughts into words and sharing them with you all. Through my time at Patrick Henry College, I've grown in both my imagination and my grasp of the good, the true, and the beautiful, and my writing has become a way to communicate this. And thanks to my pal C.S. Lewis, I've learned the importance of Story, its impact on the human imagination and experience, and its ties to the core of true meaning and the Gospel.
Here, you'll find random musings about a passage of Scripture I've read recently, something quite random I'd forgotten about until now, something that made me smile, or the best types of tea in my humble opinion (expect lots of tea-related comments). I hope to share snippets of my novel that is currently sitting half-finished on my Desktop, as I work through its twists and turns that are still in-progress. I look forward to sharing short stories whose inspirations pop into my head at random points throughout the day.
Thank you for taking the time to read these words, and I hope this little corner of the Internet is a cozy, refreshing, encouraging place for you.
Off we go then!
Uhh WoW that was beautiful, and it was only your introduction!! :') <3
